Technical Sales Manager 

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Gas Generator Solutions. In this role, you will leverage your deep technical expertise and sales acumen to create, develop & drive comprehensive sales plans, strategies & forecasts to produce a steady pipeline of prospects. You will develop relationships with key buyers and decision makers at new or existing clients to address customer needs, with the aim of protecting & growing our business.

 Responsibilities

• Lead technical sales engagements, presenting complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Identify and prioritize new client opportunities. Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to our unique markets and specific customer segments.

• Collaborate with management to ensure alignment with market needs and customer feedback.

• Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape to position our offerings effectively.

• Provide post-sales support and guidance to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term success.

 Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in technical sales or solutions engineering within the technology sector.

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.

• Strong understanding of the biotech and medical industries.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.

• Ability to travel throughout the USA

Preferred:

• Experience in a management or leadership role within a technical sales environment.

• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.

• Strong preference for broad familiarity with the following industries: biotech, pharmaceutical, academia research, medical research, environmental, food/flavors, clinical/toxicology, forensics, and petrochemical/petroleum.

• Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.

• Results-driven mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

• Strong problem-solving & analytical skills with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Adaptability and willingness to learn about new technologies and market trends.

Field Service Technician

We are currently seeking self motivated and disciplined individuals to join our team to become the next industry experts.

Main Job functions:

• Provide a high level of technical service delivery and technical support for GGS’s national customer base.

• Ensure that a high level of customer satisfaction is provided for the service and support of all GGS supported equipment’s by working within a “right first time” culture.

• Conduct preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, breakdown repairs and installations at customer sites and provide technical support over the phone.

• Maintain personal stock of parts and carry out inventory checks as requested

• Work with the sales team to develop both sales and service business in the territory

• Ensure a high level of communication and co-operation for all aspects of customer and equipment support.

We are looking for candidates with the following characteristics, experience, & skills:

• Educational requirements – Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation engineering or equivalent work experience.

• Experience of maintaining pressure systems and field service experience in a similar or related industry would be an advantage.

• A good understanding & working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems.

• An appreciation and basic understanding of electronic control systems (PLC’s).

• Must have ability to read & understand schematics and circuit diagrams

• Must have experience using a range test equipment

• Self-disciplined, self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision. MUST possess Common Sense.

• Good practical skills and a methodical approach to resolving problems.

• Ability to work under pressure against tight business deadlines.

• Good communication, IT and interpersonal skills, with a good working knowledge of computers & Microsoft Office and be capable of adapting to new software.

• Veterans with technical backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

This position requires the following:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background and drug test
Ability to work unsupervised
Ability to lift 60-70 lbs of uneven weight
Ability to crouch, lift, push, pull, etc.
Ability to travel extensively (no weekends.)
